Fade in on the sunset.

everything… everything…everything… in its right place
Santa Monica is a different experience each time I go. Perhaps the fact that each time I go, is usually a completely different time in the style, situation, and relationship than the previous trip.
Last night did not hold Fredrick’s of Hollywood, or expensive dinners. It was more of an observance of the train wreck that is humanity on the streets of Santa Monica’s 3rd Street Promenade.
We walked by the man holding his monkey by a leash. He had trained it to grab dollars from people who naively walked up with a dollar to see how cute the monkey was.
“Look mom! I got touched by a filthy monkey after he robbed me!”
The man selling his bumper stickers to impeach bush, save the environment, and save the animals. If the world could be changed with a bumper sticker, every president would have been impeached since the 60s.
The bumper sticker can be a telling sign of the swinging pendulum that is popular ideals in America. The American pride stickers that covered every car after September 11th are now faded, chipping, and but a mere memory.
It is all part of the consuming that Americans are socialized into participating in. every form of the media is based on selling and enticing someone to consume. That seems to be the most accessible way to get people to follow you, having them consume what you want them to regurgitate back at you.
If the world could be changed with a bumper sticker, it would probably be my friend’s idea”
