Brick Heat

So, they have all these witty anecdotes about the heat, ice melting, Texas, and the tin foil on the sidewalk bit. Today, I am beyond the need of these trivial clichés. I just need a thermometer.

Yeah, it is hot.
On a possibly related note, I walked into work today to hear a buzzing around the office, “Did you see it? Who did it? Where is the car?”
I was curious. Walking back to the corner of the building I overheard the news, “he ran into the side of the building with a car!
My boss had me document the event for our insurance company

A small 99 Honda Accord leaving the valet parking lot, mistook the break pedal for the gas pedal, and tried to enter our building. The structural damage is fairly severe.
So I wonder, how does one accidentally knock through a three-foot brick wall?
